The Daily Illini‘s 2013 Photo Issue was a larger project I was part of for The Daily Illini. I held position as Photo Editor for two consecutive years (Multimedia Editor for the first year), so for this issue I asked permission from my Managing Editor for Visuals to also design the issue. As I was already co-editing the photo selection with the photo editor that succeeded me, the design of the paper would be more streamlined as I knew and understood the imagery and how I felt they should be presented in the issue.

Images chosen for this issue were from the whole 2012-2013 academic year. Eunie Kim was the Managing Editor for Visuals, Darshan Patel was the Editor-in-Chief, and Brenton Tse was the Photo Editor at the time of publishing.
